TROY TEMPEST was born on January 4th 2038 in New York City. He joined the World Navy Academy in San Diego at the age of 18 and upon graduation volunteered for the submarine service. Whilst in his early twenties Troy was seconded to the W.A.S.P.s (World Aquanaut Security Patrol) at their base in Marineville.
After showing outstanding bravery under enemy fire he was promoted to the rank of Captain and given command of the flagship of the W.A.S.P fleet, the nuclear-powered submarine ‘Stingray’. Troy and the crew of ‘Stingray’ had many exciting adventures bringing them in contact with various undersea civilizations, some friendly others hostile, as well as many strange and natural phenomena.
