1/350 IJN Battleship Nagato Battle of Leyte Gulf Limited Edition Launched on November 9, 1919, the Japanese battleship Nagato was one of the fastest ships of her time. She saw combat only once in her career, during the Battle of the Leyte Gulf in October of 1944, in which she was heavily damaged by U.S. dive bomber attacks. This limited edition kit adds two new anti-air radar parts, 14 new TRI-25 mm anti-aircraft machine guns, 28 25 mm single machine guns, three “Pete” seaplanes and markings for the I.J.N. 1st Fleet, “The Battle of the Leyte Gulf,” October, 1944.
