With the pantograph drives for single-arm and scissors-type pantographs, locomotives can be retrofitted with a sophisticated drive system. The drive is not limited to the familiar single-arm pantographs (8440013), such as on the Ge 4/4 II and Ge 4/4 III. The new drive is designed in such a way that, for the first time, scissor pantographs (8440023) can also be operated.
